What P****S me off is articles on a background that is almost the same shade of colour as the script itself........making it so hard to read that i give up....
is the idiot that does this a white stick operative ??? Practical Classics has done this on a number of occassions........as have other car Mags..

I have even written to a tractor magazine about this - and still they like to put a full page (or double) picture on with nice dark sky - with black text on it. All that happens is that I turn the page and don't read the article at all. One of these days it will be something important!
I'll give PC their due though - they are much better than most and tend to put a text box in the photo so you can actually read the story!

I haven't noticed many examples of this practice among magazines that I read, but what really does amuse me is the quantity of eBay listings where the phenomenon is apparent.
