What Cars Have You Owned?

I think this is all of them. 24 cars in 20 years. I didn't think it was that many until I counted them!

1968 Morris Mini Deluxe - White. Aussie made with windup windows. Sold in 1991 and still around. Miss it still.
1978 Leyland Mini Clubman - White - Scrapped when the drivers door fell off due to rust.
1982 Holden TF Gemini sedan - Was white, chaanged to Blue. Basically Chevette with an Isuzu engine. Spent heaps hotting it up during my Uni years, then got bored and sold it.
1961 Holden EK Utility - Blue. Sold at a huge profit, still survives.
1975 Datsun 120Y - Fetching shade of 70's orange. Reliable but slow.
1971 Morris Mini K 1100 - Dodgy yellow respray over original white, coming off in lumps. Sold on when I got tired of it.
1997 Hyundai Excel GX - Maroon. First new car I ever owned. Boring, sold on.
1970 Morris Mini 1100 Van - Was green, changed to blue. Restored and sold after seven years as my daily car. Needed a car with a rear seat! Still out there.
1976 Leyland Mini Clubman - Lovely poo brown with a cream roof and rusty sill full of filler. Argued with a Holden Torana and lost. Stripped for spares.
1999 Kia Sportage 4x4 - Red and gold pile of crap, traded it after 18 months to get rid of it!
1965 Morris Mini Traveller - White, Ex UK car EYR53C. Rescued from a paddock in 2002. Still have it, still restoring it!
1978 Toyota Corona RT104 sedan - Maroon. Went rusty, scrapped.
1968 Morris 1100S - Green. Aussie Mk1 1100 with factory 1275 singe carb engine. E-bay buy that was far better than described!! Swapped for the Moke.
1971 Leyland Mini Clubman - White and full of filler. Scrapped when my feet went through the floor.
1971 Morris Mini Moke - Was Blue, now yellow. Restored with massive rust repairs and converted to 1275 Auto. Still have it.
1980 Toyota Corona RT132 Liftback - White. Very clean low km one owner car. My daily for years. Got bored with it, so traded last year for the MR2.
1975 Toyopet Corona RT112 Coupe - Silver. Imported from Japan 2006 and restored. Still have it, now for sale.
2000 Holden Jackaroo Turbo Diesel (Isuzu Trooper) - Blue over silver. Unreliable from day one. Caught fire while at the dealership for the umpteenth repair. Happy it was written off.
2001 Holden Jackaroo Turbo Diesel - Red over gold. Replacement for the burnt one. Sold 2009 when the Pathfinder replaced it.
1988 Toyota Corolla Seca AE82 Twin Cam - Faded Red. Glorious 4AGE engined track car. Sold in a fit of madness and regretted it.
2009 Nissan Pathfinder - White. Still have it, my wife's daily.
1972 Leyland Mini Clubman - Black - Ex track car with Mk1 Mini front and rear conversion bought from eBay. Rusty as hell, sold on for spares.
1974 VW Super Beetle L - Green. Still have it, still my daily.
1985 Toyota MR2 - Faded Red. Ex USA car converted to RHD. I still have it, will be a track car soon I hope.

Hi, here goes:

SOC 519M - Mini 850, Blaze orange with slotmags and 165/70/10 tyres. Regret selling this.

KVC ---V - Triumph Dolomite 1300, my Dad bought this home and it cost him £50

A--- --- - Talbot Samba 1000, What was I thinking!! Couldnt hear at the drive through Mcd's so turned the engine off, wouldnt restart and had to be pushed through by passengers!!

---- --- - Ford Capri 1300 with Wide arch bodykit, 2.8i interior and alloys. Brush painted in primer yellow

F440 XVV (I think) MG Montego 2.0i, loved this to bits but some toe rag stole it. Police recovered it but it was never the same

C--- --- - Mitsubishi Galant 2000 auto, Had every extra but the auto box gave up and was sold as scrap.

L588 GRF Vauxhall Corsa 1.5TD, Looked like every other Corsa but went like stink and delivered 50mpg! Had an appetite for alternators which weren't cheap.

---- --- -Nissan Primera 1.8 lpg, 1st company car, not a bad motor but a bit bland

NA04 VSD - Toyota Avensis 2.0 TD, company cracking motor but in 4 years cost appox £8000 in repairs (Turbo, injectors Dual mass flywheel)

NJ08 UKV - Ford Focus Estate 1.8TD, company car, overhyped and ropey as hell until the turbo kicked in, was glad to see the back of it.

NA60 URR - Ford Focus Estate 1.6TD, company car, much better car than the 1.8TD

Somewhere during Toyota Avensis ownership I aquired my MG Midget which is by far the best car I have owned (the 850 Mini coming a close second)

First car was a 1971 1250 Avenger which ended up with a 1600 lump, twin CD175 Strombergs and heavily modified suspension and brakes: Up to 60 none of my mates could catch it, thanks to a 1250 diff: I lent it to friend wh left it "parked" in a ditch after a few shandies.

1973 MK3 Cortina 1600 GXL which I loved dearly

1976 Mk3 Cortina 2.0 GT

1980 Dolomite Sprint

1982 Lotus Sunbeam which I rolled into a ditch on black ice

1984 2.0S Capri - the best car I ever owned

Years then spent in the wilderness with lots of company cars some good, (Saab 95 Aero, Mondeo ST220), some truly crap (Vauxhall Vectra SRi) and some just mediocre average cars (Rover 220)
