Hi,
I have been rebuilding the front suspension on my 1964 Alpine. Nearly finished, but just tried to get the torsion bar on - admittedly alone - but I seem to be having problems getting the anti-roll bar to seat so that I can get the 4 bolts in and done up. I located the tabs through the bottom plates first. Is there a nack to this - can anyone suggest and easy way?

Sorry, but is this the anti roll bar? IIRC the Alpine has coil spring suspension similar to the Husky (and Minx etc). If memory serves, it's a job that requires the front wheels/suspension to carry the weight of the car - but I could be very wrong!

Yes this is the anti-roll bar - I have had all the suspension off to replace the bushes. Thanks. Andy
