Mornington Crescent, anyone?

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

I once did that but it was OK 'cos when it came to court the judge recognised me from one of his "special" parties. :|

S, are you by any chance famous aeronautical engineer Neville Shute-Norway, better kent as novelist Neville Shute?

Sorry not to get back before but I have been away for the weekend.

No I am not Neville Shute. I started off in aerodynamics at the Bristol Aircraft Co. I went into car design in 1950 and introduced the slide rule into designing compound curves when I moved into car design and used my aeronautical background.

Not just the E type. My first design was in 1950. The family resemblance can be seen from then.

Hello R, did you pass away in the last 113 years?
