Deathtraps & Idiots

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Deathtraps & Idiots

#1 Post by Grumpy Northener »

I made my way around the M25 (J16 - J10) on Monday on my way into the office - usual bunch of nutters were present that will attempt any thing - no matter how dangerous the manoeuvre just to be the one car ahead of you - but one that really took the Idiot driver Monday award was the guy who was undertaking at 85 MPH - weaving between lanes - cutting every body up - this is usually a immature kid in a Focus or a Golf or a brainless BMW / Mercedes driver however, the car of choice today was a clapped out dark blue L registered Metro with complete suspension failure on the offside - so much so the body work was cutting into the tyres :o - I am not sure that they come any more stupid than that

Sounds just like the driving here in Abu Dhabi. Here it's a mixture of local psychos in Landcruisers and migrant workers in shagged out Corollas.

Once britains most stolen car, the joyriders favourite :!: There's one they regularly seem to show where the yobs outrun the cops for miles, with the yob in the passanger seat holding the door open with his foot and waving a pitbull at the pursuing cops, eventually dissapearing through a park when the old bills Volvo gets stuck.

Some people are like Slinkies - they serve no useful purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.
