Jump started the Dolomite, put some petrol in, jet washed it, pumped up the tyres and now I need a new fan belt because it is constantly squealing. Good job I get paid tomorrow.

I've just been unloading the Matra after a 700 mile round trip to France to celebrate 40 years of the Bagheera at the Montlhery Autodrome. Made the journey without incident and the UK club's little convoy attracted a lot of favourable attention from the locals during the trip.

Replaced the fuel tank sender in the series 3.

I'm not going to discuss the mentality of someone who put silicone sealant and an oversized O ring instead of a gasket on the old one.
I love the bodges I find on that vehicle.

There is creative and then there is dumb

I have been swearing at mine, does that count?
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
