1964 Cortina
I was offered a 1964 white Ford Cortina recently to restore. It is in quite good shape having laid in a gagage since 2004, but I don't know what amount to offer the seller to be fair. Does anybody know, I would be grateful for some feedback. Cheers.
Re: 1964 Cortina
with any classic car unless it is a car you can jump in and drive..
you have to be honest and get it for as little as you can.. So you can spend as much as you can getting the car back on the road.
Just be honest with the guy and say the more I can save buying the more I can spend on the car to get it back up and running and keep it..
if this is to flip well you have to pay the right price but if your going to look after it for years to come I am sure he/she will come to some arrangement..

Re: 1964 Cortina
Thanks Mark, but I still need some sort of quideline price. I will have to pay for a return trip on the boat to England for a car and car trailer. This will have to be taken into consideration. Regards.

The PC Price Guide says Cortina MK1 Saloon
Condition 3 £650
Condition 2 £1500
Condition 1 £3500
Assuming the car is complete and not disasterously bad I would start at £500 and see what he says.
