I have been fixing the self parking of my wipers. After taking the motor apart (note to self, check there is power supplied before doing the mucky bit next time) I have found there is a break inside the loom somewhere so a new wire run to the correct terminal and they are working as they should again. 45 year old wiring doesn't like winter. I think I will replace the whole loom when spring is in the air.
Just as I finished fiddling it started snowing so the car is back in the garage again.

Earliest chance to post - Yesterday I was "blasting" it round Castle combe circuit along with a number of other classics and some modern machines, everything from a race spec VX4/90 and Morris traveller with a Zetec engine to Porsche Caymans and Lotus Elises. Very friendly crowd and well organised charity track day. Treated "Quarry" with the respect it deserves and made it through the day, car intact. I say blasting but because I was new to the circuit I took it gently as the run offs are short and grassy and end with a tyre wall too close for comfort. I let most drivers pass me but still had fun.

Fitting some BFO spots and front spoiler. Tried my MGF alloys on it too, decided it looked pants and put the Sprint alloys back on.

All I did was wash the screen where the annoying cat plants its paws to get over the fence and drove up the town to Asda, stopped at the lights and a Chinese looking man walking by in a huge Russian cossack type furry hat took a picture of the car 8-)

 Maybe he's with the Siberian chapter of the TSSC? I once saw a woman in full Islamic attire taking a picture of the A40 as I was loading some flatpack furniture. Well it would be flatpack, it wasn't a Countryman.
I was quite surprised by her ingenuity in finding a place to carry her camera...

How long before Bernie gets his hands on it, they shoot half an episode of them covering it with filler then sanding it back to roughly the right shape before swapping it for another one and hoping nobody notices.

I have been working on the loom for my electric windows, checked the loom looks like the wires are on right.
I tested the relay think that is the problem?
