I noticed alot of European cars in that film, Escorts, Cortina,Opel, bedford van, Hunters, Avengers.I would have thought to have seen more Holdens etc (if I knew what they looked like) or other non descript Aussie/NZ type cars....odd!

Not really, what I do have is a bad dose of Cord separation anxiety. Have this picture of what should have been in my steading by now. It's the Cord - for those who didn't know:

I got the money back, but I can't drive money to work, take money to a show and park it between two nicer currencies or sit in it and enjoy its strong whiff of cheap plastic and GRP. :(

The lesson is that I should spend it to putting something else (that I can drive) on the road this decade.
Your "Breakdown Truck" thread may yet come up trumps.

i was out visiting a mate who loves his minis last night, i asked him if he knew of a cord for sale but he had never heard of them... i think he wants one now... translating a plastic mini into french after several glasses of headache juice was fun though :D
