That reminds me of our chinese the other night, I ordered Special fried rice but they fetched this wicker basket over. Not wanting to make a fuss in front of the rest of the gang I didn't say anything immediately, but as I was munching on my starter the lid kept popping up and two eyes kept peering at me.
After a bit of this I couldn't stand it any longer, about every 30 seconds the baskets lid would raise a little and two eyes peer out at me from the dark. So, enough being enough and to hell with it, called over the waiter and said
Scuse me mate, I ordered Special Fried Rice but you've fetched me a Peeking Duck
alright, just couldn't resist
and the old ones are still the best
