Trying to reinstate my avatar, which shows in my user CP when I go to the avatar section but it says that my current avatar - which is visible there - isn't working because the file type has been disallowed. :?
I'd grown quite attached to that fly, his name was Hamish. Please give me a moment to gather my thoughts and plan a suitable ceremony to mark the passing of the insect that's been with me on every forum there is since 2008. :D

I have raised a ticket with support to find out why you are not able to upload new avitars. When testing we were able to upload new ones over the top of the existing so it is (hopefully) something simple and quick to fix.

I have to admit, I will not miss John's fly. My monitor has a lot of dirty marks where I try and swat the chuffin' thing

I tried to post a reply before logging in and got a debug page. As I don't always log in (and always log out), that could be a pest!!

I've been chatting with one of the server admins and the reply button when not logged in can be fixed. The error is a left over from the anti-spam mod we had on the old server.
Avatars are still confusing. He is going to check the settings within their database and get back to me.
All good fun :S
