Prept has Joined forces again with VW Heritage for this years event, only this year it is set to be an even bigger extravaganza!
For those of you who didn't make it last year, it was more like a weekender show than a Mid-Week meet (Thursday morning was surreal as it felt like a Monday after a blinding show weekend!)
The Show n Shine areas will be bigger with the full Paddock areas open! Cool Flo Vintage will be hosting entertainment through out the event, and you'll probably see their unique Race Bus out on track, being driven in anger! - yep you read that right.. this year is set to be epic... as there will also be Trackday Sessions available all afternoon and evening (although pre-booking would be wise as they tend to sell out - especially at around £25 for a session!)
They have got demo race cars out on track.. with some very special machinery! The Paddocks and Pits will be fully open to the public so we can all get up close and personal with the race cars (Both aircooled and watercooled) - The guys from the Apex Festival (www.facebook.com/apexfestival) will be around helping out with the circuit action, with racers available to offer track advice, they will have a limited number of in-car video kits available to borrow and film your session with. There will also be the possibility of race pace passenger rides with some of the racers... (More details to be announced)
So this looks like a 'must-do' mid-week event! Last year was huge, VW Heritage organised a cruise to the circuit, the M25 and surrounding roads became a sea of VW's... this year there will also be cruises to the 'Track attack' event.. see www.vwheritage.com/trackattack for more details as they are announced.. or www.facebook.com/vwheritage
