Mornington Crescent, anyone?

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

I certainly was a "Fast Lane" and you are "It" once more; well done :!:

Just to remind us of this great hillclimber, classic rallyist, sporting trials driver, car preparer and cyclist (The only times I beat Roy were at Prescott on a bike) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ggh-USMeKYg. Here was a driver who rarely got it wrong and even more rarely in a big way; he seemed to be able to control spins and avoid doing any damage. There were some, who could go faster at times (Rarely in the wet), but they were usually nearer the ragged edge.

Would you be a motor racing person (With a surname "S" you could even be Senna or Stewart).

I know you'd like me to be Rich, but no, I'm afraid I'm not.

Thinking back to my answer to Martins question, whilst I'm not connected to motorsport you may find the item that is my claim to fame there, but also in many other places.

Can I jump straight in with a guess?
Without waiting for an answer are you Wilfred Sweeney inventor of Nomex? (the material used in (amongst other things) flame proof suits and oven gloves)
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
