pirate bay

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Admitting to such things on a public forum would be silly.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

I thought these places were to download illegal copies of films and music? If you wanted to watch films there's Netflix etc

Downloading data from the public domain is not illegal.

Somebody told me that you would need to download a program called vuze - it works a bit like the old limewire program (whatever that was) but without the libraries of music/films etc. You get these off a torrent site and vuze opens automatically as you pick the torrents. At least that's what I'm told.

Apparently the torrent site is just a web page that you can put into your bookmarks/favorites.

Btjunkie was very popular, but has recently shut down according to the BBC. I heard somewhere that there are similar sites with names like btscene and btguard or something like that.

Mind you, I don't condone that sort of thing. Nope.

Have to go. There's a very loud knocking at the door..........

Any Torrent application will work with a torrent site. BitTorrent is the origional and the one i stick with as it is not ad supported, it's multi platform too so it looks the same on my Windows box and on Linux.
