I think there must be firm somewhere round there that refurbishes them. I saw a BR/Sulzer Type 2 diesel-electric on a low loader on the A50 once. Incidentally, I was intrigued to see it carrying the shed code 5D which wass that for Stoke. It was never based there, having spent its working life on the Liverpool St. - Norwich line.
I'll get me anorak :)

There are a load of Locaterfields going past the shop this morning and latterly some "Original" style Minis mixed in with them. Some will no doubt be of classic age, like the Clubman estate I saw. I hope the weather holds for them :!:

:o I hope it's only the door hinges and striker plate that aren't fitted very well on that Minor ragtop replica. :x

Also this evening in Battle, I saw a 1960's Sunbeam convertible similar to the one in Dr. No.

As I had the use of mothers volvo v70 estate I popped down to Hartlepool.

I will not say what I have seen but show you! (taken with a nokia e75)

Today at Hartlepool Historic Quay A Car meet all makes and nationalities.

And yes the Volvo pops up on one or two photos and it is dark blue.
If anyone wishes to reuse of publish these photos they can do as long as
they put down "Mitsuru" as the photographer
