Car build date

I have just bought a Rover p6 registered in 1973 & missed the historic tax by a few weeks.
I remember reading an article in PC about the build date having an influence on this but can not find
Which copy it was in. Can anyone help with either the issue no. Or advise on how to go about checking
The details.

Get in touch with with the BMIHT at Gaydon and they can date the build of your car.

If it came off the line before 1st Jan 1973 you'll be in luck!
