Who sells good quality air hose?

Can anyone please recommend a good supplier of quality air line for my compressor?
I replaced the 10 year old original one 9 months ago with one from Machine Mart and it has been rubbish!

I just sang the praises of a completely different Machine Mart product on another thread. However, it must be said that they do tend to cater for the cheaper end of the non-professional market. Generally, any product of theirs that gets a hard life will not last long.

I would suggest a look at your local yellow pages for pnuematic/compressed air suppliers - someone who sells to local garages and body shops. Or pop in to a local garage/bodyshop and ask where they get their hoses from.

You have only had it 9 months so take it back. I bought a compressor and 2 air hoses in '94 from Machine Mart, one burst after about 2 years , the other is still going strong. The 1 that failed had a blue ribbed outer and the good 1 has a red smooth outer. Apparently the blue 1 was unsuitable for using to spray cars as the solvents affected it. Ask them if they have a better quality hose than the 1 you have and ask for a refund on the "old" 1. If you don't ask you don't get.
