TOPGEAR UK Christmas Special 2011

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

TOPGEAR UK Christmas Special 2011

#1 Post by Mitsuru »

India Special
Wed 28 Dec 2011 20:00 GMT

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May set out to boost
the British economy by embarking on a trade mission to India.
Equipped with three old British cars and a range of uniquely British
products, they set off on an epic road trip across one of the world's
most fascinating and challenging countries, devotedly promoting
Britain with distinctly mixed results.

I quite like the allegro (in the way that i will look at it at a classic show but never buy one)

That looks like it will be rather good. If nothing else the scenery is amazing!
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

I'd have an Allegro, driven a few and found them great fun in a BL wobbly kind of way :D

Seems that the Allegro was the standby car in this show, the one that was sent along to loom in the background for use if one of the others died.

More like the Bug in the cross Africa special or the STS in Alabama. That's what I was thinking. 8-)

Sorry to say this but............................

Got to be the biggest waste of time ever.

They truly have lost the plot.

I have always been a big big fan of TG but, that was the biggest pile of crap they have done yet.

Can they get any worse?

I hope they do much much better with the new series than they have done with this so called "Special".
