Just Thought I'd post a few pictures of my 1985 Polo Caddy Custom Build ,

Model: 1985 Polo Caddy Conversion

Engine: 1272cc 8v

Suspension: TA Technix Shocks with Eibach 30/40mm Springs

Brakes: STANDARD

Wheels and Tyres: 14" Golf Mk III 7-Spoke wheels . Slight stretch on tyres

Exterior Styling: Porsche Adriatic Blue

Interior Styling: Full Polo Coupe S Interior

ICE and Security: Pioneer head unit , Sony 6x9s , Pioneer 4x6 on the dash

Finally got around to giving the caddy a clean up and taking a few photos ....

Do my eyes decieve me or is that a working tailgate on that? Looks like it, and congratulations if it is, I'm fed up with seeing "pickup" conversions without one, (presumably because it was too difficult to do) which to me is just a two door with a large birdbath on the back. I really hope I'm right, as that looks a really good looking job to me. Me likey!

Very convincing Gimp (or Photoshop?) work, it's only really the image showing the inside of the bed that gives the game away. :D

Thanks mate , yes its a working tailgate , as far as I'm aware its the only conversion that has been done that actually has a working one :)
