Was'nt sure where to post this question.
I am going to fit a vinyl roof to my 82 Daimler Soveriegn only because I like the S2 Coupe' and for various reasons they had vinyl roof's. The problem is finishing it off at the bottom of the rear pillars, S2 Coupes had nice chrome trim, which i would like to replicate.
Have tried Woolies who are as always very helpful to the point of even going to send me a sample of some thing that might do, but can any one point me in a direction of the real macoy or indeed do you have them in your stock that you may be persuaded to relinquish for some of my hard earned.
I know Ford's of the era, Capris Cortina's and Granada's where blessed with vinyl roof's and had a nice bit of trim to finish them off, so would be quite happy adapting some thing.
I know purists will scorn my desire but it's mine and I want it. Pimp my ride..springs to mind but hey ho!

Some people are like Slinkies - they serve no useful purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.

Other cars of the era to consider as a doner for finisher strip is the Austin Princess AKA wedge range - most models had a vinyl rear quarter or vinyl roof, the rear quarter panel is quite large so trim length should be sufficient .
Have you considered self adhesive chrome strip
It is readily available at trim stockists in several widths and profiles but would this be too tacky
