sky

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Channel 4 used to do the odd 3D thing years ago where you had to wear silly glasses, what's the difference ?
I also remember the 'Red Triangle' films

It's such a shame that they did away with the triangle. Seeing that in the Viewer** beside the write up for a film meant that you'd know you were in for a treat. ;)

**Other TV listing mags are available nowadays and even the Radio Times includes the ITV and other commercial content now, much more convenient than having to buy one for BBC content and the other for the rest.

Yes,but they were crap though!
I remember as a 'curious' teen staying up to watch some really third rate film ,just for the red triangle bit at the end, only to find I'd get more out of Brookside

Not sure about Brookside, but Anna Friel certainly showed her own red triangle  in Stephen Poliakoff's brilliant work "The Tribe" when that was on the telly. :o

Download it if you get a chance, it's really good, and not because Ms Friel gets her bits out, in fact that was quite distracting.
PM sent as the link I found is not exactly "family friendly".
