Car alternator/dynamo used as wind turbine?

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Yes, I think looks ridiculous and to call it a Moke is an insult to real Mokes. :evil:

Anyway, the guy obviously has no concept of physics, as even a year 11 physics student could tell you it would be more effeicient to charge the bike batteries with the car's alternator. :roll:

Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Let's all make a turbine. Anyone care to make plans? Couldn't it work the same as a trickle solar charger and charge up a car battery? :D
