sky

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Hi Rich, have you tried getting your box to do a channel search? I think Sky3 is channel 108, has something else appeared in it's place or is it missing from your list?

I presume that as you're in France you were getting it via satellite. On this side of La Manche it's also disappeared from digital terrestrial and been replaced by Challenge, which specialises in repeats of old game shows.

Not sure about Challenge being the same channel but on Freeview where Sky 3 used to be (on channel 11) the name is now "Pick".

Yep-pick tv where you can get nightly fix of Road Wars is indeed the old Sky 3 channel.

Ah yes, Road Wars. Is that still narrated by Mister Lee "don't f**k with me 'cos I'm hard" Boardman?

He makes me laugh out loud, he does. At the risk of being accused of homophobia, he's far too Erik Estrada for all that villainy.

Renamed Pick in order to avoid confusion with Sky 3D.

Do you have to wear those funny paper specks to watch 3D TV?
