Here's the place to chat about all things classic. Also includes a feedback forum where you can communicate directly with the editorial team - don't hold back, they'd love to know what they're doing right (or wrong of course!)
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, I was just wondering how you get your car featured in a road test in the magazine, Looking through my vast collection (1984- now) of old PC magazines i can't see any features on Opel Kadett B's and was thinking it would be great if i could get mine featured, Maybe a feature with the Viva HB Vs Kadett B or something?.
I would have thought the car is rare enough to make a interesting article, I don't know of any other 2 door Saloon 'B's left on UK roads at the moment.
I did have it in April issue of Classic Car Monthly which was fantastic which it would be great to see it in PC mag. Just a thought.
Aha! so that's who you are. I think the answer to your question is either keep an eye on these pages, they sometimes put out appeals for a particular model, or they find cars through their contacts inthe various owners' clubs
Being in a club is definitely going to be to your advantage, especially if you have something that stands out even amongst its peers. In my case I answered an advert on the Allegro Club's forum, after the club secretary was contacted by the guy who wanted to write the article. The advert was in March, the photoshoot June, and it'll hopefully make it to the news-stands before December!
Thanks for the replies, The only club I'm with is a local club called East Anglian Practical Classics (like you i guess Pete) and the Vauxhall Opel Club as there isn't any Opel Kadett clubs in the UK but nothing every comes up that would suit my car, I'll just keep an eye open on here and see what appears i guess.

I believe it has already featured in that section, a couple of issues back, I remember as my car was also featured on the same page.
Personally I would contact Neil and ask if there was an interest in doing a feature on the car as my first steps in getting a feature under way.
