i should also perhaps aknowledge that i did title this thread including the word 'ephemera', indicating a plural of cars from the 1990's.
the mondeo is a keeper imo, and is currently being accompanied by the long term fleet presence of my aged but trusty 1994 Vauxhall Corsa B 1.5td. a car i doubt ...

little update on the old red lorry :) she has covered a comfortable, efficient and nice 3k of miles recently here and there, and apart from a blown radiator core (she had the good grace to let this go on my drive after a 100 or so mile round trip) she has been superb. new rad fitted, easy job in ...

If it is the same as the MK1 focus then there are 2 cables that run from the knob to the heater itself. The cables have a habit of coming off the tracks inside the "bit that attaches to the knob".

the blue oval has produced some great cars, that lots of people don't notice in their time (like those escorts) then they just vanish! my mum had an anglia, dad had a mk2 fizzer.... besides older cars are the way forward anyway

I think the track may have had a few... same as cortina's and sierra's in there day :-P haha thanks buddy, i couldnt do too modern really :-) newest car i had was from '97, it broke.... ahhh yes, the modern touches are v small though, i think it is probably one of the last old-school era cars ...
