Re: Cracked paint
I bought my 1982 Daimler Soveriegn in 2007 and it looked gorgeous apart from some isolated areas of crazing, over the forth coming years it got to the stage that I could peel or flick large chunks of paint off, last year I decided that I would bare metal it and respray it, albeit outside, now just ...

New Bolts
Spent rather a long time today trying to source some new body work bolts to put my car back togather this weekend and what i thought would be easy peasy to source some M8 and M6 bolts of the right length from local suppliers became an absolute night mare.
Had decided that the M8 bolts where 20mm ...

Am Tech Compression Tester
Being in the market for a new compression tester, I want one that will do deep plug hole's ala the PT Cruiser etal and the XK series motor in the Jag / Daimler, but there seems to be a bit of negative feedback about the Am Tech kit, now I know it's a cheapy but it's not like it's going to get ...

Re: Computer problem
if you press alt key and the tab key it should scroll you though your open windows, your desktop window will be one or should be one. My guess is what you see is made to fill your desktop space so you can't see the bottom windows task bar shortcuts bar. Alternatively if you can do Control Alt Delete ...

Re: Computer problem
My guess would be that this isn't a virus spy ware as such as it got round McAfee which isn't as bad as it's made out, what you are probably seeing is a jpg or png file downloaded from the website along with a url that gets stored in your startup group which runs when your computer boots. All the ...

Re: 24 volt starting !!
For info: according to the 'net' ecu's will handle between 25 and 36 v across its terminals for about period of time and infact handle the same reverse voltage for a period of time, it's in the design spec, we are talking about 5 mins, my guess is the power unit can't disapate the power for any ...
