Hello every one. I suppose this makes me an official anorack! I own three vehicles; a 1999 Isuzu rodeo; a 1998 C240 sport estate (AMG,d right up, truly a future classic); and a very recent aquisition and true love, a 1975 Bedford cf pop top camper. My problem is the latter only has two belted front seats and I have a wife and a 7 year old son. Does any one know where I could aquire a period looking belted bench seat? In my dreams it would also be reversable (pivot back / swivel base) to provide seating when parked up. I realise that this is a tall order but would be gratefull for any suggestions. Thanks Johnsi.

Hi and Welcome!

I recently sold someone an Iveco seat for use in the rear of a Bedford CF. It's hardly what you would call period-looking though and only half of it folds flat.

Not sure how common they are in the UK, but some models of Mitsubishi Starwagon (L300 van based people carrier) and the Nissan Urvan (bloody awful name for a car!!) and Vanette had swivelling seats with built-in seatbelt arrangements. Maybe someothing like an Espace would have similar?

If you can live with lap belts a rock-n-roll bed from a VW Type 2 or later T3 Kombi would look more period and would still fold flat into a bed.
