Fuel gauge sender recalibration

Hi all,

I have a Lancia Fulvia and the previous owner had an aluminium fuel tank custom made for it. It's a lovely piece of workmanship but unfortunately not exactly the same dimensions as the original. The fuel gauge reads 3/4 full when full and 1/4 full when empty, is it possible to have the sender recalibrated so that it reads correctly? How does the low fuel warning light fit in with the gauge? Will this need sorting too?

Thanks,
Dario

Hi there,

you might find these threads useful:

I need to do the same with my TR6 since fitting a new sender.

Thanks for that. Looks a bit involved, I may have to build up to that!
