Hmmm - Jodie Kidd or Jeremy Clarkson?
Easy choice, Jodie knows something about cars!

If we're going to post links to news sites:

It almost sounds like the producer things TG would move to a different channel if the Beeb axe it. I wonder if Dave would dare to take it on - they bleep all sorts of naughty words out of things like QI, so they may not be brave enough to make TG!

Re: New series of Top Gear to get global launch
There's a hovercraft in the opening episode. With Clarkson driving.
I "drove" mine from the yard where I found it, along the lane to a suitably high bit of ground and onto its trailer and in doing so, it only fell off the trailer very slightly but I had been practising for that moment every day for a week so small wonder I came so close to getting it right. Lashing it onto the trailer was fun, we discovered that [the hovercraft] had no wheels..

But the thing is that Clarkson has frequently demonstrated an amazing ability to drive pretty much anything (remember that Tatra, whose weird gearchange JC mastered within a few yards of getting in the car), so what will happen when the wheels are removed from the equation? Will he stuff it up? I genuinely almost care about what happens and anyway, what's the alternative? Call the bloody Midwife? No ta.

All this talk about hovercraft reminds me of the time I was following a hovercraft being towed at speed on a trailer down the A12. As the speed picked up I could see the engine being turned over compression by the propeller and wondered what would happen if it suddenly started
