Seriously though; there's a nice Ford Anglia in that film, it appears in the scrapyard scene early on, before events begin taking an odd turn. You can just make it out through the back window of the International Harvester Scout in this screen grab from IMCDB:

if you have seen the original gone in 60 seconds there is a rather lovely austin 1100/1300... for those who are lucky enough to have not seen it i d describe it as a really bad car porn film but without scriptwriters... saying that its just so much better than the remake

It's an MG and cops it virtually straight away. There's also a MK1 Capri, MK1 Cortina and a few other bits of European tin to be seen. The original film is so much better than the re-make, but then that's usually the case. All the accidents are real, and yes, it really did wipe out on the lamp post.

Eleanor is still alive and makes occasional appearances at shows around the US still.
