I'll be at the NEC, but at a trade show. Looks like it'll be busy with the PC show, Gadget Show live and the CIH trade show.

Nope, they wanted the Dolomite for 3 days, Fri Sat & Sun, would only offer 2 passes and nothing else. Being 150 miles away, that means a hotel is needed, those on site cost an arm and leg, so you look further afield, but then that leaves the problem of getting there and back when your car is stuck in the NEC, so that then means a taxi, bus or train, so more expense, then there's meals, and the extortionate costs the NEC charges for warm beer and cold tea, then another 2 passes so the kids could get in too. Add on fuel costs, that's a few hundred quid, and I'm not paying that out just to line the pocket of someone else.
I'll give my support to those shows that don't charge an arm and a leg and don't expect you to bend over backwards to make their show a success, so to that end if I want to drive to Birmingham that weekend, I'll carry on past the NEC and stop when I get to Cofton Hackett and give my support to the Pride Of Longbridge show instead. (free entry too!!)

Not going now. Have overtime over the whole weekend
