I bought this sony radio a while back



It has a lock fitted to prevent some1 taking it out and borrowing it..



The lock has the code 7197 stamped onto it, the key would be double sided.
does any1 have any ideas what make key it would be?

Is it worth popping it into a Timpsons or similar local locksmith? Numbers may mean something to them?

Any (decent) locksmith will be able to make you a key for that. They normally have the best success if you can take the lock itself in to them so they can guarantee they have the correct blank before they cut it to the code stamped on the barrel.
