Yes very sad. A favorite actor of mine and I always loved the professionals. Was only watching an episode last night on one of the spurious channels......Dolly sprint, TR7, MkIII Tina etc......lovely.

Not a great age these days. It doesn't seem that long ago, that they were racing about in the Capri and RS 2000. At the time, things like the Wizard of Oz seemed a lot older, than the Professionals do now.....where the hell have the last thirty odd years gone   :?:

So there's only one of the main chacacters left now (I was watching a DVD of the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes series last night and only the first Dr Watson - David Burke - is still alive). Didn't someone do a spoof of it :?: It wasn't Morecambe and Wise; they took off Starsky & Hutch - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIhsQLddllc  :!:

You're thinking of Bonehead & Foyle, a comic strip spin-off. The Professionals despite the cheesy story lines was and still is compulsive viewing, but I haven't seen Who dares wins in quite a while, Lewis Collins taking method sacting to the extreme!

Martin: Russ Abbott used to have a character called Barret Holmes.
