No idea, but probably not really the right forum for expertise in these relatively modern cars to be honest!

Cheers :D

I can't help much, but they are obviously two completely different machines: what do you want to do with the car? If you need to take a family of four, would the Audi work; if you only want to commute, perhaps the smaller, more economical, car may be a more sensible idea.

Perhaps the best idea is to read through some posts on BMW and Audi forums and get a feel of the problems these cars have. Mind you, I sometimes look at a VW forum and get depressed - apparently whatever model of VW I have, it will have major and repetitive faults (that none of my VWs have suffered) and all VWs break down on a daily basis!

The trouble with forums is that you only hear of problems, nobody bothers to write "the car is still going well and hasn't broken down!"

I know how you feel.....

A while back I acquired a Polo for my son, so out of interest what forum did you look at? I'd be interested in a suitable forum for discussing any issues that we might get with the Polo.

Cheers! :D

From these two I'd go with the Banham as it takes its mechanical parts and basic structure from the good old Metro, so parts aren't too hard to find just yet. ;)

I also use a VW forum, it's a friendly one, find them HERE.

I had been away since selling my previous Golf (MK3 Variant 2.0CL) back in 2007 and only went back in July when I bought the MK7 but honestly, it felt as though I'd never been away. Nice bunch of people though the Bugatti section can appear a bit snobbish for noobs who don't get the irony of the thing.

Well it's a TT that looks slightly like a Banham ;)

As for Olop forums
