i was taking a trip out last night in mr 2 & driving along a country road limit 90kmh & i was doing 95/100kmh & some twat in a huge 607 pug was right on my bumper finally the road straightened out & he came flying by, only to be caught by me 2 minutes later at the crossroads.. later on i was driving out of a village limit 50kmh & i was on the limit only to be overtaken by a twat in a vw glof who nearly lost on the roundabout that was fast approaching.. it seems every time im out in a sporty ish car some idiot thinks he must overtake me, no matter what the risk...is it wrong of me to want them to crash???

I always move over for motorbikes so they to can crash somewhere else well away from me.

You should see the standard of driving by staff from JCB. I was taking the MIL to one of her friends a couple of weeks ago, someone in a Xara Picasso overtook me on a particularly narrow stretch of the road, no way of seeing more than a few hundred yards ahead. About a mile further up he was in a ditch. I had to pull over I was laughing so much.

Rich, I'm a twat in a VW Glof these days. When you have one, you
have to overtake everything, even if it means that other cars will catch you up at the next junction. It’s all there in the car's big book of instructions on pages 972 'til 1063, between the sections about
how to hold up people in traffic with neither a caravan nor a safety net for assistance and
how to avoid entering into debate with common people, about how utterly inferior their hairstyle is, whilst stationary in traffic queues.
Honestly, it's all in there but I haven't yet finished the chapter called
"Driving in France; remember to take some of them with you!"

I'm having a busy morning - some idiot has put the letters wrong on the car and I have to change them so they say "GLOF".
There are some Glofs driven sensibly - I saw one the other day! My excuse is that I spend too much time trying to make the MPG read over 60 instead of the current 59! It lies anyway - the spreadsheet reckons about 52/53 MPG, about the same as the Mk4 estate did! It's more fun with the "instantaneous" reading as I can get it showing over 200MPG at times. I just wish it didn't show the single figures though...
I used to come across a Laguna regularly on my way to work in Penrith (a 30-mile drive) and he was a complete idiot. He used to overtake on bends just to get past (I had the Passat at the time and would have been doing 60MPH - honest officer, I thought I was doing 60) and, on more than one occasion, he overtook me before we had got half way I would be within two cars of him when we got to the roundabout in Penrith!
