any ideas to the best place to source a high quality set of black ignition leads to suit a 1965 singer vogue mk3 (1600cc)

Not my area of expertise but I would measure what you need, take samples and go to Andrew Page, Unipart etc. Dont expect your car to be catalogued, but with luck you will find someone behind the counter very keen to help.
Only thing is that if you want the caps to look like the old style (??) you may have to source those & separate cable lengths from motor bike dealer.

I made my own the last time I needed a set, AES supplied the cable and fittings:

I buy most of my electrical stuff here and they are pretty reliable (fast and of acceptable quality). Other suppliers are available!!
