ive been looking around at work lights for some time.
i have 2 in my garage that i have been using..a 240v lead lamp that takes a domestic bulb (which doesnt take much breaking) and a similar 12v type. both ok but then i read this thread on retrorides (im sure you all would have read it too)
http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/ ... on-started
so, whilst at a local tool hire shop i spotted an offer on an led lamp that worked off aa batteries. it gives great light out and being magnetic, it is quite handy indeed..untill the battery runs out..lol
been doing a bit of clearing out in the garage, listed a few things on ebay and invested the proceeds on some tools for the garage.
i have ordered this lamp

not arrived yet, but i will let you all know how i get on.
if you havent read the thread on retrorides then its worthwhile, if only to take note of the fire risk when working on our cars sometimes
