Hi, I am Ian, a 37 year old professional car restorer from Worcester. I have owned numerous classics myself as well as building cars for customers and have a genuine life long love with classic motors. I currently do not own a classic of my own but that is set to change very soon. Just wanted to greet everyone and I hope to have many happy times on the forum
Ian

Welcome
You’re in good classic car country, with Morgans, Shelsley Walsh and even Prescott not far away!! The run from Malvern, via Ledbury, to Ross on Wye is a nice one, that I once had the pleasure of doing as a passenger (Being too young to drive at the time) in a new Morgan 4/4.
I don’t know whether being in the same business as your hobby is a blessing or not. I’m in the cycle trade and whilst I like cycling and have ridden competitively in the past (I still cycle on a daily basis), cycling magazines bore me rigid and it’s nice to escape to classic cars and steam engines. In some cases, people open bike shops because they like cycling and that, of itself, is not enough; you have to have a degree of mechanical aptitude and in some cases, this is missing (Being able to ride a bike or drive a car, doesn’t mean you know anything about them).
What aspects of restoration do you do in house and what is sub contracted to outside people? What types of cars do you handle; is there any make/type, in particular, in which you specialise and if so, will your forthcoming classic car be one of them?

The mere sight of the food in their vans makes me dribble

It's the building in the background (Behind the Feast vans) that I'd like.......plus an income to heat it or a roof full of Solar panels

I thought something similar. You'd see quite a crop in a hut that big.
