New member, so sorry to ask the obvious. I want to attach photos to a reply / resto story, but can not find out how to do it. Do you have a simple facility to allow me to copy / paste files in from my computer directly. Do I have to use something more sophisticated ? Photos are generally ~ 1 MB each of course.
I need line by line instructions please.
Thanks Mike V

Hi Mike,
Attaching files is childs play, when you compose a message the attach box is just below where you enter your text.
If you click the browse button and find the file you want to upload, click on then press the buton with "add the file" written on it. You can then click somewhere with the text, select the image from the list of ones you have uploaded (in the attachments drop down box below the text) and press "place inline"
The restrictions are that only image files can be uploaded and they must be no larger than 128kb. This is to preserve space on the server and ensure that the site remains nice and fast for those viewing the site.

Another alternative is to use a free online host like photobucket!
You can copy and paste the IMG link for any size of pic,and amount of pics, without reaching a limit that some forums impose on attachment uploads.
You can also link to a complete album or slideshow.
its easy to do,just needs a little practise!
