I seen the advert and was thinking, Did they make Peel P50's for the advert.
or cut up original ones?

They also had what looked like a nice bedford truck.
And used the theme tune from the film Brazil.

On another note the peel p50 is being made again

Why isn't there a price on their website?!?!?! "Please contact us to place your deposit to reserve one of only a small handful of these unique and exceptionally rare automobiles" that isn't very helpful and they won't be rare any more after they start making them again. If they are cheap enough it would be a great toy!

Here is what the promotional material states
Previously produced cars can fetch over £100,000 pounds sterling!!
There will only be 25 made per year with a 6-8 week wait, and the
cost of the car £12,500 + TAX!!!!

I'll believe this when I see one. When James Caan was last interviewed on one of the documentaries following the fortunes of Den contestants, it was revealed that the only cars actually in the possession of the pair of "entrepreneurs" (or sheisters, you decide) were some scale models and one each of the original products.

A few things in the Peel p50's favour

1.Only seats one so an excuse not to take that boring person with you.
2.no reverse gear as you can pick it up by the handle and park it.
3. it gets 118 miles per gallon.
And this was in 1962!!!

Match that Preuis!!!!

The Lynx effect is brilliant - well known in schools around here - it is the best thing ever for removing permament marker ink from "whiteboards" - but you have to use baby wipes if it's an interactive whiteboard!

Mind you, I never saw any lads successfully use it to "pull the lasses"; I gather a wooden club is still popular in some areas of the county!!

Baby wipes are good for cleaning leather too, the ones from tescos are just the right
as they are oily enough for feeding the leather according to mother!
