OK, Question: Why was the bloke who was waiting for the parcel filming the courier instead of getting to the door to receive his item? He must surely have needed to know more or less when the delivery would take place in order to have captured that seemingly damning bit of the process.
The whole thing smells a bit funny to me.

They still take better care of their deliveries than the post office do

Carriers are often only as good as the local depot. Without mentioning any names, some local depots are abysmal (Even though as a whole, the firm concerned have a good name). In this case, the driver hasn't obtained a signature, so unless the customer said to "Leave in garden", he is leaving himself wide open.
Parcelforce, being connected with the Post Office, do not generally have such a good name
BUT they had a driver on in this area, who had been on the run for years. There wasn't an address he didn't know (Even drivers for other firms used to turn to him for guidance); he was an exceptional driver and a nice bloke. Sadly personal tragedy drove him to suicide a year or so back.
Sometimes the customers don't help. They order stuff and then aren't in when it arrives, despite being given tracking details, that given ETA of within an hour

notice the private gates and intercom on the post?.
I would guess the camera is a remote set up mounted along the fence and connected to the intercom set up.
Not uncommon in the states.

Ah! That would also explain the LHD and the rank shorts that the bloke's wearing. Or would it? I'm not sure about FedEx ones, but USPS vans are RHD for easier kerbside drops and collections from roadside boxes so maybe he's not American, maybe he's from
*insert random name of country here to avoid my being held responsible for upsetting any member who happens to stay there.*
If you look at Postal2's channel at youtube and check out his other vids, you'll see what he needed the monitor for!

Total gaming freak, possibly can't even remember what daylight looks like, that driver may have done the boy a favour in a way.
