I know that increasingly, Mini owners are sticking Ks into their tiny cars, and Metro owners are upgrading to 1.6 & 1.8 units. Has anyone here ever done one of these swaps, or know anything about the process? I'm having thoughts...

Never done it myself, But...........................
Being the owner of a nice new unused Late model MK2 Metro shell,I am tempted to build a "special" at some point.

If you speak to Jonathon Heap at JLH restorations (he is on the MMOC forum alot) he has a great kit for making the K RWD. I had him quote for doing a mog traveller for me a few years ago before i discovered the car was made of P38!

Thanks Terry, but it's an FWD application that most interests me.
I think I'll widen this out a bit.
I would like to get a good look at the following cars, for research purposes:
Rover 100/Metro or 200 1.4 K-series,
Austin Maestro/Montego 1.6 S-series,
Austin Princess/Ambassador 2.0 O-series.
If anyone can help, please let me know - proximity to SW London would be a huge bonus!
