Only with my new found love of 4 wheeled Reliants did I know that!

Would love a Rebel.

I'm seriously confused abut that advert.

1) Can somebody tell me what's in the least bit "rebellious" about the scene in that picture?

2) The strap line: "The car for people". Errr - as opposed to?????

Or is it a spoof advert, and I'm completely missing my GSOH??

Gah!

That building behind them looks as if it could be a southern residence, in which case the rebels are the good ole Johnny Rebs.

So far as Libya is concerned, at least Gaddafi should be able to move out fairly easily, being as he lives in a tent.

The latest edition of the Kitten Register Mewsletter (which has just dropped through members' letterboxes this very morning) has an extra sheet in the envelope featuring the cars for sale that couldn't be included in the normal, classified section. ;) ;)

Forget looking on eBay as most cars there have few original bits and worse than that, many have acquired 850 engines which have been bodged in (they're not the straight swap that some folk think they are). Try to find an original 750; that engine, with its typical safe crankspeed of well into the 7000s, suits the Rebel gearing (14mph/1000! ) well and means that, with a decent carb (bin the Zenith and go Weber 34ICH), you can cruise at 80 all day long.

If you're not already an RKR member, get signed up now, he typed, in the style of a Safestyle Windows & doors ad). 8-)
