1969 Moggy van project, will update as we go. from start to finish, a rusting wreck to a modern funcional vehicle, retro van with modern mechanicals, a bit like what VW did with the beetle but keeping the original shell.

Being stripped back to the bare metal, front showing new chassis arrangement ready to take the front wheel drive unit. note the firewall has been changed to accommodate the engine, steering rack and servo. The lower arms are renault clio, as they are A frames there is no need for an anti roll bar. the piece of dexion you can see is temporary, it's there just to hold the wing trough in the correct position.

Doors blasted and bottoms repaired, note steel not filler. The yellow paint on one door would suggest it's not the original, probably taken from a gpo van. Decided open air blasting is too messy so today we are going to build a cabinet, details will be posted on this thread.

Fuel tank fitted, approx 20 gallons, with an approximate consumption of 60mpg the range should be about 1200 miles.
