a real head-turner.

Hello Chaps
On Friday Ed and I did a prom drive for my niece, for the event with borrowed a pair of Stags and roped john from our local branch of the club to join us in a third. This gave us a red, a white, and a blue Stag -and the effect was brilliant. So much classier than the vulgar limo's. And we easily outshone the porsches on view.
It certainly says a lot about the classic fraternity that we were able to get our greasy mits on such fine machinery and all of the owner declined to accept payment -even for fuel. -A donation will be made to kidney research in lieu.
But here is the thing; As we approached the turning into the residential estate for the pick up we had to pass a stationary black Golf which wanted to cross our road into another turning. As Ed in the very red and shiny lead car pulled level, so was heard a loud screech of brakes and a bang! Seems the driver behind had his eyes on other things- probably us.
Beware the head-turner! -Martin
And can I say thankyou again to John, Don and Graham for the use of their cars.
