Terry - Russ lives on a farm, that I pass on the way to work. He is a character and seems to be in charge of the other dogs. His duties are pest control and he recently killed a fox  . He is full of metal plates, from when he got run over but apart from feeling the cold, he seems OK. He recently saved the lives of the farmer and his family, when the farm caught fire and he went into the bedroom and licked the farmer's face, to wake him. The farmer's parents live about five miles away, at the bottom of the valley (Where it joins the main Usk valley) and Russ often goes to see them (The road is a dead end at the top, apart from a rough track, to another valley, so little traffic :D ). Sometimes the other dogs go with him. Russ likes a ride in the car and often gets one back to the farm, after staying over night. He likes TV and has a preference for wildlife and sport programmes, especially tennis. You couldn't make it up. The farmer has a friend living beyond the rough track (In the Sirhowy valley) and Russ goes to see him sometimes. I have seen him coming back down the track.
