Land Rover themselves used Fronteras at the Skipton-based Land Rover Experience to get their punters used to the course before they'd be let loose in LR products. Adrian - senior instructor down there at the time but now based even further south at the Gaydon premises and last I heard, working in something called an o f f i c e - is a forum member although he doesn't post frequently. Who knows; maybe he'll come along and put up some of the photos showing Fronteras dragging stricken Freelanders out of the clarts? (Well they weren't about to risk getting a Disco dirty). Even the staff used to find that funny!

But no, Rich, if you want a GM 4x4 buy a Trooper, they have really comfy seats that support the lumbar region perfectly during these long waits for the RAC.

if i have a choice id have another diahatsu 4track, i was interested in the frontera as its 5 minutes away & cheap.. that said i used to drive the vauxhaull brava which was a great bus & was always showing land rover drivers how its done.. also my uncle towed in his tractor units in with his frontera 3.0 petrol
