Someone has walking about cash, the mini's just been VED'd for a whole year!
Not a Cooper, since that one was built 6 years after the previous Cooper was last made and 12 years before the newer ones came along. It does have a 1275cc engine, and that cage looks interesting but am I alone in thinking that 13s are just too much wheel for a mini?

No photos, but when I was coming back from my friend's house, I saw a yellow Bullnose Oxford. Now that's rarity for our little village!
I doubt the friend's cars qualify - a Stag and a Chimaera both parked up in his garage! I fear the Stag (which could be for sale but has a 6-pot engine and hasn't been on the road for five or six years) won't be on the road again and he's bored with the TVR now!
I wonder if the Oxford's owner will post saying he'd seen a bloke driving a white and brown tractor...

I only saw a couple of cars that aren't part of the day-to-day routine around these parts.
First nice-looking old car that I spotted today; a lovely, bright red Gilbern Invader just two miles from home on the way out the other odd one was an '80s TVR of the wegde-shaped variety, it was sitting on the side of the A1058 Coast Road down in Newcastle as a bewildered RAC guy fiddled under its bonnet.
I wonder whether the RAC fella will come on here to say "Oi, I'm not bewildered!"

I spotted this the other week, but forgot to post it. It was an MGB originally, apparently.

Yesterday, I saw many cars, obviously because of drive it day.
I saw, a Bentley Continental 2 door, in black with a red coachline, which I thought was utterly gorgeous, but no photo, as I was serving an idiot customer. The other cars I didn't get photos of include, a Ford Fairline, a Ford F150, a gorgeous yellow Anglia 105E, a mark 1 Austin A40, a few Moggy 1000s, some MG Midgets, MGB roadster, Austin 7, Triumph Stag, Triumph Spitfire, VW Golf Mark 1 GTI, Morgan plus 4 and some others which I can't remember.
I did, however get some photos of these lovely Jowetts which went past, including a gorgeous Jupiter.

Wow, A Rover Metro! I was just thinking earlier today that those are starting to vanish just as the A-series ones did.
It's a shame that the camera seems to have focussed on some second hand Mercedes-Benz in the foreground.

So far I have seen to-day is a X- Reg Mark 1 Golf Black. I always like to see them, because they are getting rare now.
