Some of a diversion from the car content with this memorial sketch commission of a very characterful German Shepherd.

You're not imagining things, it's there. Digital watermark thingy I use to prevent theft and whatnot... sorry for the inconvenience, there's one on all the stuff after a certain point.

A whimsical notion of how bubble cars came to be.

Do you remember taking an old Plaxton bodied Leyland Leopard for a daytrip with your family back in the day?

Itchy orange seats, that particular smell from the coach's always hot engine, the smell of barf from some travel sick child, the fog of Benson & Hedges from the back of the coach, cheap aftershave and the noise of synthetic fabric rustling.

 Nail on head! And looking at the picture, it's authentic right down to the British seaside vista with dry roads and not a sandbag to be seen. These were the days, though as a kid on school trips, our preferred back seat smoking material was Embassy Red and I remember how the teachers would always be happy enough to give us a light as long as we were 5th form or older.

These days, tabs are made from stuff that gives you diseases and they cost about £86.99 for 20. Glad I quit years ago, sometimes wish I'd given up old motors at the same time. ;)
