There is a Dolomite in dark green knocking around The Deeside area of North Wales, I have seen it twice - once in Queensferry parked up by the Domino pizza place and once on the way to Flint on the dual carriageway.
There is a fella in Connahs Quay with a couple of Zodiacs and a Mk2 Granada, though I have also seen a Mk2 Ford Cortina on his drive at times as well and a Mk1 cortina there once. The Zodiacs are almost always there but look like runners.
I also crossed a Spitfire in Yellow heading away from the Wrexham direction towards the Deeside area this last weekend and this morning a bright Red beetle coming from the Wirral heading towards Deeside industrial estate - fluffy dice and all.
The local baker used to come to work in a burgundy classic Lotus Elan but when I went in to ask about it his to-be-ex-wife was in there and not very complimentary about the bloke who has been given the boot I now understand
I used to see a purple/grey mix Consul here all the time but it also has vanished along with a very tatty black A30 that was here for many years knocking around.
There is a Morris minor in Connahs Quay that has been their daily driver for the last 25 years that I know of, always on the road outside as well - a bit tatty but still going.

I saw and heard a Jensen Intercepter go past the shop this afternoon (Glad I wasn't paying for the petrol but still a lovely car).

If you didn't feel it the driver wasn't going hard enough!

Maybe that's why there's a crack in the plaster
Today it's been quiet but I've seen two VW Type 2s (Bays) go past and an old pre war "Wedding" car (Could have been a Rolls; I only saw the back).
I took the V8 for it's first run of the year yesterday (Apart from the one for its MOT), now that Winter is over. All being well, I'll go to the Dean Forest Railway in it on Wednesday.

Ay up!
A quick blatt from Wolves to Yorkshire and back has produced an interesting haul, mainly on the motorway.
The northbound trip produced mainly classic commercials - a couple oof gorgeous Mk1 Transits (flat front - V4s?) and a Bedford CF. Oh, and an Austin 7 Boat Tail Special.
In Dewsbury, a Consul Capri, nicely presented in white over maroon
On the way back, a gaggle of VW Beetles, Battle Buses (splitties and bays), a couple of proper VW vans and a load of proper Minis. The little critters were all scampering northwards, the VWs from the Leicester direction, the Minis from the Derby area. Plus a very nice yellow Dolly Sprint.
Highlight of the trip was a late 20s/early 30s Lanchester just before I got onto the M1 coming back south.
I also had what I thought was a squeak from the front suspension. It turned out to be the Ifor Williams livestock trailer in front......
There is also a house in Walsall where the occupant likes to collect projects, before SWMBO makes him clear 'em out. Down to 2 Volvo P1800 saloons now...

Quite a good day for it yesterday

. Took the V8 to the Dean Forest Railway and on the way home I saw a Triumph Dolomite at Whitecroft and then, at various other points (And not necessarily in this order), a Morris Minor Traveller, a few Morgans an old Marcos. At one time, you'd only get a wave from other MG drivers but nowadays most
classic owners will acknowledge one another

.
And today, a Morris Minor convertible and an Austin A 40 (Farina) went past (Both looked good; the Minor had the roof up

but I expect it has seized up during the
Winter). The A 40 was behind the Minor and it looked really small as it went up the road (Ofcourse they were narrower than Minors).
